Today Is the Last Day!!

Tuesday, December 9, 2008

Yep, today is the last day that you can order my Excellence in Weave Pole Training:Phase One.  That means that tomorrow we will start taking orders on our website for phase 2, my new 2-disc dvd set “Susan Garrett’s 2×2 Weave Pole Training (the product will be shipped starting Friday). 12 Poles in 12 Days. So for those of you that have been holding off paying the $14.99 US for the ebook, I have decided to walk you through what you have been missing. In this video clip I am going to show what’s in phase one and why you are going to what to grab it!  I’d love to get feedback on what you think of me appearing (or my voice anyway) on my blog (I know really geeky, but I thought it would be cool!).

Today I am grateful for some down time. Now that camps are over for a couple of weeks, John and I have some errands to run today so I am looking forward to vegging out in the car (ok I sleep actually, nothing like sleeping in a moving car, love it!).

  1. Love your “appearance” on the Blog. It would be great for you to answer questions using this format so we can hear the meaning in things that are hard to type. 😉

  2. Thought hearing your voice and going through the slides was a great idea. Keep up the good work and look forward to getting the DVD.

  3. i think its fab! :o)

  4. Today’s blog is just like being back in camp! Susan speaks! I like it and wouldn’t mind more “Susan Speaks” blogs in the future.

  5. Great idea, easier and clearer means to get the message across.

  6. Hi Susan,
Cherry from Croatia again :-)) Since I met you in Helsinki I’m watching more closely what are you doing. I already ordered through Clean Run this manual and found it as a great teaching stuff as well as reminder for training and source for solving potential troubles. This idea with voice is great, just excellent
    Hugs, Cherry

  7. Grreeatttt job Susan !!! You are so cute with your excitement !!!
What a great job you’ve done in becoming a geek and able to do all this video stuff . I’m jealous !!
No one is more excited that this video is FINALLY coming out !!!!! I’ve put off my weave training since July when Helen said “next month “…!!
I can see why you two are such good friends. Congratulations on a great blog, fun and interesting to read, and the videos and all the help ?….
    Priceless!!
My credit card is vibrating in anticipation !

  8. Excellent blog! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep it going! The video clips are very fun.

  9. love the voice over on the blog. The normal printed blogs are great too by the way, I hope you keep doing them. Looking forward to the 2×2 DVD. Trained my dog using the method in the back of Shaping Success and that worked great – she was weaving twelve poles fast and confidently after 8 sessions.

  10. Susan, Several of us here in Arizona have downloaded the workbook and are anxiously awaiting the DVD. I am going to go back to retrain Kayte’s weaves because we have a weak entrances on certain approaches and then, by late summer, it will be puppy’s turn. A question came up as we were discussing the 2×2 method: does the spacing of the poles matter. One friend does multiple venues, one of which uses 24 inch spacing of the poles and USDAA that has more or less 21 inch spacing. Thanks. Am loving the blog and the workbook.

  11. Me again…I think my post isn’t clear…does the spacing of the poles matter when you are moving back and forth between venues? Or, if you mostly do one venue with one spacing and then occasionally do another venue with different spacing, how might it affect the dog’s performance in the poles?

  12. Wow! Gotta love technology! Great voiceover! Ordered the DVD set and I cannot wait for an early holiday present!

  13. We like hearing Susan speak!

  14. Susan,
I LOVE the voice-blogging! Very cool!
I can’t wait until my DVDs come in the mail, yayyyy!!! Merry Christmas to meeeee — better Weavies for my fur-kids & knowledge on how to do things right with the next pup!
